Silverton Software (“we”, “us”, or “our”) has developed the Aqua Savant app (the “App”) to help pool service technicians manage their service routes, record and track pool chemistry readings, and improve their workflow. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose your information when you use our App and website.
1. Information We Collect
a. Personal Information
We collect the following personal information only as needed:
- Account information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
- Route or employer info: Your assigned service route and associated employer/company details.
- Device information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
b. Usage and Log Information
- Pool service data: Pool addresses, chemical readings, notes, date and time of service.
- App usage data: Log data including app crashes, features used, and performance analytics.
- Location information: With your permission, we collect precise GPS coordinates from your mobile device when you use the App. This includes background and foreground location data, which may be used to track your route, verify service locations, and optimize workflow. You may control location services via your device settings.
c. Location Data Collection
- Aqua Savant collects and uses location data, including GPS coordinates, to enable key service features such as route tracking, job completion verification, and reporting. This data is only accessed with your explicit permission and is never collected without your consent. Location data may be shared with your employer or route manager for operational purposes.

- Support requests: If you contact us for support, we may collect your contact details and records of communication.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the App’s functionality.
- Authenticate users and secure accounts.
- Enable technicians to view routes, record and track pool service data.
- Provide analytics for route optimization and app improvements.
- Troubleshoot and support users.
- Follow legal obligations and enforce Terms of Service.
- Use GPS location data to enable route navigation, verify service completion at pool sites, assist with time tracking, and provide proof of service to your employer or manager.
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in these cases:
- With your employer or route manager: Service data and technician logs may be accessible by your employer/company for management and compliance purposes.
- With service providers: We use trusted third-party partners for cloud data storage, analytics, or push notifications. These partners are contractually required to protect your data.
- For legal reasons: If required to comply with law, court order, or to protect our rights, we may disclose necessary information.
- Business transfer: If Silverton Software is merged or acquired, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and you’ll be notified in such an event.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal and usage data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We may retain logs for troubleshooting and legal compliance for a longer period. GPS/location data is retained only as long as necessary for providing services, ensuring compliance, and supporting business operations, or as required by law.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. However, no system can guarantee 100% security.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Account Information: You can access, update, or delete your account information by logging into the App or contacting support.
- Location Services: You may enable or disable collection of GPS/location data at any time using your device’s settings. Note that disabling location tracking may affect or limit certain features of the App.
- Marketing: We do not use your information for marketing without your explicit consent.
7. Children’s Privacy
Aqua Savant is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us for removal.
8. International Users
If you use the App from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and stored in the US. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
